5 Days of Supporting Storytelling on June 3-7

When I was in my twenties all I really wanted was for someone to empower me to tell stories. I needed somebody to say, "I can see that (insert style) of storytelling is your natural gift to the world." I have created an extended weekend that I would have wanted to attend - a time for you to become a great storyteller. It will be a weekend where you can embody and strengthen your storytelling ability. Where we can find the parts of your storytelling practice that are holding you back.

If you want to hear people talk about storytelling, then please listen to my award winning podcast project the Art of Storytelling Show - it's free and it's available right now. If you are interested in practicing the art of storytelling, in being the best storyteller you can be, then this is the weekend for you. Sign up today to participate in my summer workshop/intensive.

You can sign up for one half-day workshop or all five days. Daily registration includes lunch. Other meals and lodging are not included.

What are you waiting for? Register Today by mail or online registration.
Prices for the workshop are on the 2nd page of the registration form.

Day 1 - Friday
Storytelling Intensive.

Intensives are held on Friday June 3rd and Monday June 6th from 9am till 4pm for a total of 6 hours per day. Lunch is included. Getting good solid feedback on your storytelling is what will improve your storytelling skills. We will form a circle, divide the time, and support each other in a meaningful and pleasant way. Here are the rules of an artist-centered storytelling process that we follow.

- The artist is in charge and defines his or her own needs
- The primary job of the other participants during the artist's time is to witness.
- The artist asks questions first.
- The audience members state their reactions and ask questions.

This is the workshop for anyone who wants to improve his or her confidence and ability. Both of these days are primarily geared towards mastery of storytelling.

Day 2 - Saturday Workshops

It doesn't matter what level of creative ability you think you have. What matters is your willingness to turn the key. The focus during this workshop is on practice, practice and more practice. This workshop is open to any level of storyteller.

Day 3 - Sunday Workshops

Freeing Comedy in Storytelling
